The main subject of this thesis is Chinese Rama religion dance, "VCham," and Korean Buddha religion dance, "Zuo-fa-wu." Both of them implied very complicating and meaningful religion conviction as a type of religion culture. Furthermore, they involve a number of information of dance history and culture as the product of history and culture exchange. Therefore, we can figure out the characteristic that come from religion dance influenced by religion conviction through the study of both Buddha religion dances, and the relationship between two countries when each of them developed Buddha and religion dances. Moreover, we can distinguish different values and traits between two religion dances through the comparison of two countries' religion dances. I believe this study will promote deeper academic attention towards two countries' religion dances, as well as providing useful information for two countries' dance history. This thesis is comprised of introduction, four main contexts and conclusion. In the introduction, I explain the purpose and method of this thesis and current status of the study relating to this subject. In the first context, "The History Background of Religion Dance," I state the historic development of Buddha itself, Buddha religion, and religion dance of two countries. In the second context, "Analysis of Religion and Dance," I analyze two countries' Buddha religion, namely "Qi-yuan-da-fa-hui" and "Ling-shan-zhai," and the religion dances as a major factor of the religion. In the third context, "The Comparison of Two Countries' Religion Dance," I distinguish formats and functions of two countries' Buddha religion dances. In the forth context, "The Study of the Cause," I state common factors and differences between two religion dances through the comparison based on the third context, mainly focusing on religion belief and culture exchange. In the conclusion, I explain the characteristics of two countries' religion dances as a religion itself as well as the product of a history.Until now, nobody compared two countries' religion dances onthe viewpoint of Buddha religion belief. This thesis shows the reasons of common factors and differences between two countries' religion dances on the viewpoint of Buddha religion belief. However, this thesis also has some limits, such as the lack of references of this field, due to my imperfect ability. I expect that this thesis will be able to be the precedent for the future and be improved by other following scholars.
