This thesis mainly checks the source and course of Wenzhang conception in literatures from the Han Dynasty to the Jin Dynasty and tentatively searches their Wenzhang idea.The whole thesis consists of three section and there is a introductory discuss before main body.The introductory discuss mainly introduces the aim and significance of writing the thesis and also discusses the meanings of Wenzhang and the sprouting of Wenzhang conception which means writing.Wenzhang means matching of colours initially and gradually comes to rich and bright colours of animals ,plants and bodies and then comes to man's literary grace.Man's literary grace mainly refers to cultural accomplishment of Shi,Shu,Li,Yue and so Wenzhang has the meaning of writings in the pre-Qin days.Chapter one discusses the Wenzhang idea in the Han Dynasty.In the Western Han Dynasty for the social environment of a unified domain the Shi stratum have less chances to participate political affairs.They have to throw their some energies into writings and a part of the Shi stratum begin to look writings as their main substance and persuit of life.This leads to the producing of man of letters.From later period of letters gradually construct a complete Wenzhang conception which almost completely bases on politic function.Chapter two discusses the Wenzhang idea in the Kingdoms days.In the period,two trends of thoughts treasuring emotion and upholding literary talent deeply effect the writing of Wenzhang.Writings have outstanding emotional and beautiful feature.But in theory,the Wenzhang idea bases on politic function continues.In Zhengshi period,because the dark learning springs up,Wenzhang idea gets theory bases of getting rid of the attachment to politic function.Chapter three discuss the Wenzhang idea of the Jin Dynasty.The dark learning continues to develop in the two Jin Dynasty and reaches its prime in eastern JinDynasty.Under the effection of the dark learning,the Wenzhang idea basing on aesthetic function occupies the mainstream.Tao Yuanming's idea is the outstanding representative of the aesthetic Wenzhang idea.
