| The 29th Olympic Summer Games will be held in our country in 2008.In order to hold the 2008 Olympic Games successfully, our country not only needs strengthening the hardware construction such as Olympic gymnasiums, communications and environmental protection, but also needs strengthening the software construction of social ethics and morals, enhancing countries' quality of ethics and morals in real earnest, building favorable moral surroundings for the 2008 Olympic Games. At the same time, the Olympic Movement, as a sort of human social cultural phenomena, possesses certain moral value, and, withal, it's abundant cultural connotations and multiform contents are emerged mainly via the carrier of Olympic Games. Thereby, withal, the 2008 Olympic Games will bring the developmental moment for our country's construction of social ethics and morals. It is thus clear that there are certain interaction relations between the 2008 Olympic Games and our country's construction of social ethics and morals. Rationally scanning the two's interaction relations, and taking effectual tactics, for promoting the successful holding of the 2008 Olympic Games, further strengthening and perfecting our country's construction of social ethics and morals, actualizing the two's benign interaction, have utmost important significance.Since applying for the Olympic Games successfully, the study related to the 2008 Olympic Games and our country's construction of social ethics and morals mainly concentrates on: the study of the Olympic Culture and the ethics and morals, the study of the Olympic Thinking and the ethics and morals, the study of the 2008 Olympic Games' "three great ideal faith" and the ethics and morals. Observed these studies lengthways, finding that at present, the study related to the 2008 Olympic Games and our country's construction of social ethics and morals numerously makes studies from a certain angle or aspect, as a whole, it is still comparatively scattered, short of the systematic study on the two'sinteraction relations. This study educes the flowing conclusions:1 , The Olympic Games regarded as the main carrier of the Olympic Movement, whether in antiquity or in modern times, all close contact with the background of the social ethics and morals. At any side of the two, we all can find the shadow of the other side. Between the two exists benign course of social interaction.2, The development of the Olympic Games never broke away from the support of the social ethics and morals. From the developing history of the Olympic Games, we may see: the social ethics and morals is the important pillar of the development of the Olympic Games; when the Olympic Games break away from the social ethics and morals, it will be on the way to uncontinuance.3, Regarded as a kind of international cultural activities, the Olympic Games have characteristics of mass and internationalism, are a kind of open cultural system, thus it also becomes a perfect carrier of spreading values, creating nicer conditions for our country's construction of social ethics and morals.4, From aspects of enhancing people's moral realm, safeguarding human harmoniousness, and finally accelerating to establish a ideal society of safeguarding human dignity and peace, the Olympic Ideal is consistent with the social ethics and morals.5 , The successful holding of the 2008 Olympic Games and the perfect of our country's construction of social ethics and morals, all demand the two to develop interactively.
