Research On The Construction Of China's Soft Power Under The Perspective Of Beijing Olympic Games

Sixty years has past since found of new China, thirty years of reform and opening to the outside world policy make our country achieved outstanding success, the comprehensive national strength has improved a lot. As the elements that could be used to evaluate the comprehensive national strength, the hard power, economy, military and technology have got obvious progress. However, the elements that could also be used to evaluate the comprehensive national strength, that is the soft power, the culture, the national image, theory and institutions have been lagged behind. The Seventeenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) put forward the improvement of the nation's soft power for the first time, and this is the first time that the soft power appeared in the report of the Seventeenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China. This illustrates that our party and country has viewed the improvement of the soft power as the strategic point.
