In the modern literary world, Li Peifu is a writer who contracts closely with the earth. Healways cares about farmers, thinks about the central plain; fells the reality, and these all permeatedthe central plain and the people on it, especially the relationship inside the peasants on thisland—the relationship between the earth and the plants. The earth is the living surrounding whichis made by the history culture of the earth and reality agitation. Plants are the people in centralplain. Central plains modify the selfless and unhealthy mental people by the old history culture,backward traditional ideas, life and thoughts. On the other hand, the reality easily put the weakmental life of the peasants by material flood to rout and luxury and dissipation. Li Peifu exactlydigs the nature of their mental world, character world and thinking world. He also deeply digs thestrong effects of the environment in which these peasants live.There are two chapters in this essay.Chapter1 expresses Li Peifu'emotional world, sense world and ideal world. Then deeply explains the eternalliterature subject—environment and human beings. There are mainly four kinds ofpeople in his writing. The first is rural leaders. From them the writer expounds manysocial problems such as the autocracy produces, the essence of leaders and the so on.The second from the point view of young people the writer wants to show the courseof social unhealthy tendency'affections on them. Shows the relation betweenindividual factors and furniture. The third is the most in country. From them Li Peifutells us why and how the ghost of A-Q still exists in our living surroundings.
