On The Farmer's Living Condition Of The Central Shaanxi Plain Area In The Republic Medium Term

Abstract: Since the modern times, by the natural and man-made disaster, the rural economy was absolutely backward and the small-scale peasant economy started to decline in the central shaanxi plain area. Until the republic medium term, the society of this area changed comparatively, and the changed social appearance were related with the reform of every aspect, such as politics, economics, culture and so on. Frequent chaos caused by war and oppressive taxes also made a few of bad results, which agricultral production was severely damaged, the general farmers shoulder the serious economic burden, the quality of life became lower and lower, and all of the influences seriously hamper that areas' rural economic development and made the economic level a backward position for a long time. As a result of many factors, the agricultural production, the countryside economic struction and farmer's life style had some structural changes, therefore this area was the one of most representative regions among the social development changes.From the views of the economic condition, productive lifestyle and the quality of farmers' life, in the central shaanxi plain area,in the republic medium term, this paper produces to do the concrete research on the countryside productive relations, economic structure, farmers' productive lifestyle and some reasons of history, government and historical influences. The social history, particulaily the research into the history of the villages, is the an important content of the republic term's studying. All that the development and the reasons caused by the changing of rural economy and the farmer's life in the central Shaanxi plain area in the republic medium term, gave us the precious historic experience and lessons. Studies in the farmer's life condition of this area make very important value for discussing the changing of rural economy and social life.
