The "spring And Autumn Annals" The Gao Note

GaoYou was one of outstanding hermeneutists in the late of DongHan Dynasty. He had once studied under LuZhi, the famous Confucian scholar. GaoYou's date is not quite clear, and there is no history record about him .GaoYou inherited his theacher's notes,and was diligent in annotateing many ancient books . The annotation of LuShiChunQiu is the most intact and reliable among those that can come down . As he made notes ,GaoYou gave consideration to both pronuncians and meanings , referenced to public opinions widely, and quoted copiously from many dialects. GaoYou offered rich cultural heritages to later hermeneutic.This thesis uses the annotation of LuShiChunQiu as the target of studying and makes a thorough study of GaoYou's contents of hermeneutic from four aspects:collation, word explaining, pronunciation marking, and sentence explaining. It explores stylistic of rules, technical terms and methods on GaoYou's hermeneutic. We try to dig out his ideas and theories of hermeneutic ,reveal emphatically the research on relations between acceptations and grammatical analyses that were hidden in hermeneutic materials ,then make a generalization to his achievements and deficiencies.
