Since the 40's of 20 centuries, the technology development is progress by leaps and bounds, combining to report the index number increases the trend, the technology integral whole turns the trend increasingly obviously. The technology revolution rises for the fourth time after70's, mankind acrossed into the contemporary and high and new technology ages.The development of science & technology is in synchronization with social progress, and it has largely enriched and changed the way and the content of man's life. In the contemporary era, there is a fantastic spurt in the development of science & technology which shows the characteristics of the era and a new developing tendency. The development of science & technology has influenced every aspect of man's life and laid out a more marvelous prospect before our eyes. An aura of science & technology has pervaded our life and continuously pushed the whole society to an unprecedented width and depth with its infinite power. Meanwhile, man has realized that what the development of science & technology has brought forth is not only happiness and benefit, but the increasingly serious ethic crisis. The conflicts between ethic and the development of science & technology have reached an unprecedented depth. The creation and the application of every progress in science & technology will inevitably result in corresponding ethic conflict(s), which drives the interaction between science & technology in contemporary era and the ethic system into a dilemma.Based on the development of science & technology in contemporary era, this thesis reveals the characteristics of the conflicts between the development of science & technology and the ethic system, and furthermore analyzes the deep reasons for these conflicts. In addition, this thesis also analyzes the dialectical relationship between science & technology to set up the theoretical basis for their harmonious development. Then it gives a brief account of the goal, content and principle(s) for their harmonious development.
