With the development of society and the increase of stress, children's behavior problems have been quickly increased in recent years. Adolescents' behavior problems, however, are even more serious than children's. Because they are in a special development stage of body and mind, the maladjustment of adolescents not only affect their mental health, but also obstruct their later development; cause behavior problem, mental disorders, even severe delinquency. As a result, adolescents' behavior problems have been obtaining attention of the whole socity. Researchers have conducted a lot of researches on how to identify and discriminate behavior problems, and on what cause them / affect them, and they gradually form relevant theory modes. On the basis of these models, they began to notice how to prevent and intervene behavior problems. Generally speaking, a lot of researcheres focused on small group / individual intervention, few of them concentrated on big size group conseling.Reviewing the national and some world wide researches on group intervention, my thesis is tying to apply group counseling to classes in middle school, and choose interpersonal relationship of students / peer relationship and parent-adolescent communication as intervention point for improving students' behavior problem. My research selects multiple baseline quasi-exprimental design, including two exprimental classes (E1 and E2) and one control class. To studens in El, they accept intervention both on peer relationship and on parent-adolescent communication; while to students of E2, only peer relationship's intervention accept, to control class, without any intervention. During the interventional period, interventional activities involve group counseling, skill traing and lectures. The evaluating criteria of intervention also integrate quality and quantity, self and others'evaluation, immediate and follow up measurement, comparing the results of above said three classes to esplore direct effect (such as peer relationship, parent-adolescent communication ) and indirect effect (the improvement of behavior problems ) after interventions. Finally, the results indicate as follow:1. Group counseling, skill training and lecture can effectively improve peer relationship of the class, especially on the later effect.2. Students' mental health level associates with the quality of parent-adolescent communication. Lecture and skill training towards parent-adolescent communication can feasibly promote the frequency and the effectiveness of their communications.3. All the students accepting interventions appears different improvements both in families and in schools. However, there exite differences of improved behavior problems between El and E2. Generally, intervention of interpersonal relationship can improve peer relationship of classes, and benefit student's emotion control at home, even benefit to implicit behavior problems. In addition, the immediate effect often better than long-term effect for intervention. In sum, during the process of behavior modeling, a long-term and staged education and intervention are needed for students. Finally, the weaknesses of my research show that the results can't well reflect my previous intension of designing due to the controlling problems of subiect's own difference and counterbalance's treatment, as well as evaluating system. Thus, how to sensitively distinguish behavior problems and effectively design more procedures of intervention will be my research topic in the near future.
