For the feudalistic society, the economy of Tang Dynasty was very prosperous.The language of Tang Dynasty, especially the glossry, reflected the improvement, and a lot of neologies and neologism came into being.This thesis takes neologies and neologism of "the Corpus of Han Yu" as disquisitive object.Han Yu was the leader and executant of Ancient Prose Movement of Tang Dynasty, his articles'language was innovative. The neologies and neologism of his articles reflected glossry characteristic to which belong to Tang Dynasty, and reflected the trend of the whole glossry system.There are two parts of this thesis:exordium and straight matter.Exordium includes mainly reasons of explanations of choosing topics and study methods in the introduction of this thesis.Straight matter includes five chapters.The first chapter speaks of the err of "Chinese Great Dictionary"when it refers to the neologies and neologism of "the Corpus of Han Yu". The first chapter speaks of the err of "Chinese Great Dictionary"when it refers to the neologies and neologism of "the Corpus of Han Yu".And it includes three parts:the words , which "Chinese Great Dictionary" consideres as neology that belongs to "the Corpus of Han Yu", already existed;the words, belonging to "the Corpus of Han Yu", but "Chinese Great Dictionary" thinks they came into being after "the Corpus of Han Yu";the words, already existed in "the Corpus of Han Yu", yet "Chinese Great Dictionary"doesn't embody.From analyse these instances, we can infer when comes to the neology, it is very diffcult to judge the origion of the neology.According to the methods of judging the origin of neology, the second chapter speaks of disyllable.From the structure of words, and in terms of the actually instance of the neology of "the Corpus of Han Yu", dividing them into coordination pattern, deviation pattern, control pattern, complement pattern. The thesis also talks aboutrepetition word and ddition pattern.At last of the chapter, compared with Zhai Yan's master's paper "From 'Temple Records in Luo Yang'on new words and new meanings of Wei, Jin, Northern and Southern Dynasty" and Guo Shuang's master's paper "The Study of new words an new meanings of You Yang Za Zu"\ concluding the character of the structer and part of speech of "the Corpus of Han Yu '"s neology .The third chapter expound the neologism of "the Corpus of Han Yu", including two-syllable word , three-syllable word and four-syllable word.In terms of the neologism, the four-syllable word has special feature.lt mainly refers to subtract idiom from archaism, create new idiom and other four-syllable word which similar to idiom.Furthermore, these four-syllable words have stong life-force, and they are the performance of the creativity of "the Corpus of Han Yu".The fourth chapter speaks of the complex relation between the morphology and acceptation of neology and neologism.The fifth chapter summarizes the character of neology and neologism of "the Corpus of Han Yu", pointing out the importance of studing the neology and neologism of "the Corpus of Han Yu".
