Liszt Hungarian Rhapsody "in The National Character And Artistic Quest

This thesis probes into Liszt's " Hungarian Rhapsodies " in terms of nationality and artistry, analyzing the national element and artistic element reflected in the " Hungarian Rhapsodies".First, it is proved that the national element exists and plays an important role in Liszt's " Hungarian Rhapsodies " by analyzing the subjective and objective factors of Liszt's creating motive and the material chosen in " Hungarian Rhapsodies ". Second, this thesis proposes the embodiment of the artistry of the Hungarian music in Liszt's " Hungarian Rhapsodies " through an analysis of artistic characteristic in Hungary's folk material, which is shown a respect of the artistry of " Hungarian Rhapsodies".Third, through analyzing the tactics of the basic principles , it proves that the artistic style of Liszt incorporated in " Hungarian Rhapsodies ", which is the other respect of the artistry of" Hungarian Rhapsodies ".
