《zhanguoce》 is one of a few documents which can speculate the glorious history of "Zhanguo" ,however, for a long period, many scholars have found it seem to be "doubtful", and have taken a sceptical attitude towards its nature. Especially, recent discovery of silk book named 《zhan guozonghengjiashu》 made this period of history uncovered, which has raised more disputes on its belongs among the historical science. Actually,《zhanguoce》 is the collection of 《"zhongshu"remainevolumes》 ,written by Liu Xiang, a Han Dynastic scholar. It is Liu Xiang who added《zhanguo ce》 with the historical form and the historical scope. Moreover, from 《〈zhan guo ce〉booklist》 ,we can find that "not real history" was yet in 《zhan guo ce》 ,while it is collected by Liu Xiang. Most of "not real history" were written by descendants' creation, which were written by imitation of senior, or the instructive teaching material scripts. Obviously, they were deliberately artificial creative works. Moreover, Miao Wen yuan had investigated that there were about 160 pieces of creative works in 《zhanguoce》 ,which is one third of the whole, mainly of which were divided into not rational, not suitable for geography, not suitable for situation, not suitable for history,use old story, conhtradiction, copy and, and so on. 160 chapters were written in the 58 figures,40 percent of which were related to the three brothers of Shu Qin and Zhang Yi ,It is clear that the descendent paid much attention to learning and imitation of the famous figures, 《zhanguoce》 is neither the complete historical work, nor the work of only one sort, nor the work of "zonghengjia" ,and some of which were old novels and narrative novels. The elements of these chapter includes the length, the tightknit plot, the precise description , and the classic figures ,are even more than those in the novels of the South and North Dynasty. In conclusion, 《zhanguoce》 should be a collection of historical data, old novels , canvassers' teaching materials and scripts,It is the chain between the historical rumour and thenarrative novels, and moreover, It has surpassed the important chain between the old novels and the narrative novels.
