The oral Chinese idiom are a kind of specific sentences, which be wildly used in spoken Chinese. As a common and fixed expression of oral type, it is taken as a chunk and forms the established meaning by popular usage. For example,谁说不是呢,谁知道,巴不 得,又来了,哪里哪里,等着瞧,and so on. But it has been ignored for a long time in teaching Chinese as a second language. The shortcoming of input and teaching create communicative obstacles for foreign students and affect the fluency and the typicality. In view of this condition, we hope to improve its study by deep inspection and to gain some teaching experiences by Carrying on the teaching experiments for several months: First, we could bring it into Chinese teaching and cultivate the power of discernment and understanding to chunks; secondly, it is very important that practices and use in teaching; thirdly, we could sort out them to help teaching; finally, we could chose or adapt some teaching materials which cultivate Chinese language sense.
