In the macrostructure of a reforming and opening society, women status, women employment, women role, and so on, are subjects for study, which are important both theoretically and practically. Using sociology, aesthetics, femininity and other scientific knowledge, the article elaborates the feminal consciousness in the late 80s' Chinese popular music of the last century. It includes women music images, women composers and their works, and the femininity in men composers' view, too. At first, the article explores its study on the social, historical and cultural backgrounds which the feminal consciousness grows upon. By study on the works composed by women, their aspiration for love and compassion, their concerns on womenfate and the praises for the beauty…… the feminal consciousness as a wholeis spread out. The article also sorts out the differences between traditional and modern women music images, and the feminal consciousness from men composers, such as the praise for women, and the subject on love between men and women.
