The previous researchs on Thomas Aquinas theological aesthetics were focused on its aesthetic aspect in isolation, seldom noticed the this-shore characterstics demonstrated within it, and rarely explored the profound philosophic reasons hiden in the change of that-shore to this-shore in aesthetics.This article intends to explore the this-shore turning in Thomas Aquinas'aesthetics from the angle of his philosophic this-shore turning.The article especiolly researches on the this-shore characteristics of his aesthetic turning and highlights the sector of humanistic aesthetics, cross relationship among truth , kindness and beauty as well as relationships within aesthetics and art.As for Thomas Aquinas'theoretical construction , , there exists an incompromising contradictation between the goal and the process, his status as a theologian determines the direction of his theorotical construction.He proposes the seperation between philosophy and theology, attempting to make use of philosophy to serve the theology, so as to keep the purity of divinity, this however, objectively changed the philosophic basis of theology, what's more, Thomas Aquinas payed great attention to the construction of humanistic aesthetics with the aim of showing the greatness of the theological aesthetics, which however also objectively covered the divinity beauty by its humanistic beauty .thus promoted his this-shore turning on aesthetics.It can be concluded that the construction of Thomas Aquinas' theological aesthetics turning is under the presupposition of the theological teleology.Therefore, the most splendid part of Thomas Aquinas'theological aesthetics is not on his whole theoretic frame, but on his partial theoretic exposition.
