What are the difference and consistency of internalzing disorders and externalizing disorders among middle school students?Reasearch in the past discussed them isolately or blurred them together.To compare them more accurately,,this study select 779 students from junior middle schools and 163 from high schools,by questionnaires we divide the whole subjects into four groups and compare them all from success and failure perspectives separately.Results are as such:(1)The group with externalizing disorders has more similarities with the normal one,which shows that the source of ill behaviors among middle school students didn't always come from attribution or cognition towards society,but also from factors of communicating with the environments. Groups with internalzing disorders and overlapping symptoms differ greatly from nomal group,which shows that abnormality in psychology of students come greatly from clashing of cognition toward society. (2)From their attribution we could deduce their idiosyncrasy:the group with internalzing disorders may be always refused by their fellows and have low-quality friendship.they have strong inclination towards achievements;students with externalizing disorders are in pursuit of acceptance and applause of their fellows,which come from the ill communication in emotions and connections in their family,where they feel lonely and isolated;Overlapping group has much difference with the normal group,they are more pessimistic,they have more similarities with the group of. internalzing disorders, they are double failures.(3)Sex difference mainly come from prematurity in girls,they attach importance to relationship.But different groups have different sex difference.Girls in the normal group has greater expectation for achievements than boys, girls with externalizing disorders has deeper percipience into relationship . girls with internalzing disorders are more dependent and emotional.Boys who cann't adapt well in schools may have more difficulties in learning.
