On Zhuangzi's Dialectical Thinking About The Relationship Between Individuals And Groups

Zhuang Zi lived in the times called"Zhan Guo"in Chinese history . Two important themes debated by most thinkers that time are the life of individual and the order of society . As an important representative of Taoism , Zhuang Zi inherit and expansion the thinking of Lao Zi . Zhuang zi has the original idea distinct from other thinkers in the problem of relations between individual and group. Zhuang zi deal with the problem of"the freedom of individual"by"Xiao Yao", and deal with the problem of"equality of group"by"On the Equality of things".In the book of《Zhuang Zi》,the connotation of"Xiao Yao"is revealed by some fables .by explaining these fables ,we can find that"Xiao Yao"is not passive spirit ,but positive spirit different from Confusion ."Xiao Yao"is a mode of life and a state of mind. Zhuang Zi apple the people to free themselves from kinds of doctrines , and to create a free and natural life.According to the common interpreting in academic circles , the connotation of"On the Equality of things"can be explained by three aspects :the Theory of"equalize things"; equalize"the Theory of Things"; equalize Things and I; The theses uphold that"On the Equality of things"is an angle of view which from the perspective of Tao ; Then ,"On the Equality of things"is a harmonious state of group .Zhuang Zi's philosophy has always been subject to criticism , mainly because of people's long-term misinterpretation of taking his idea as pessimistic. Today, the Taoism should be think again when China is in the time of globalization .
