Loan Words In Modern Chinese, Japanese Source Study

The Japanese loan-words have the particular and important position in the loan-words. The research about the Japanese loan-words obtains more scholars attention. This research not only has the linguistical significance, but also has the positive influence moreover to study the cultural exchange history between China and Japan as well as the history about the western civilization entering our country. In this paper we research the Japanese loan-words preliminarily. Firstly we respect the language and culture interaction course between China and Japan, and point out that the Japanese loan-words enter Chinese mainly around the May 4^th Movement and since the reform and opening-up. Secondly we survey the two historic stage, and we analyze and sort out the material from the quantity, the distribution in each field of the society and the characteristic of import types with the quantitative method. Moreover we analyze and explain the meaning development of the popular Japanese loan-words presently. At last we conclude the characteristic about the Japanese loan-words which Chinese imports and forecast the tendency of their development.
