The promotion of education for all-round development is an important decision made by CPC and State Council, proceeding from the overall situation of developing our socialism undertaking and great renaissance of Chinese nation. And strengthening the education on undergraduates' psychological health is a crucial measure to implement Party's education guideline and education for all-round development in the new circumstance, a key approach and means to improve undergraduates' comprehensive development as well as an integral component of moral education in institutions of higher learning. Practice has proven that mental character is the basis of talent quality. The undergraduate without sound mental character cannot finish study well, let alone taking the responsibility of developing the country in the future. Therefore, mental character has direct bearing on the improvement of undergraduates' quality in all round way. While the mental adaptation, as the core content of mental character, exerts crucial influence on the cultivation and improvement of undergraduates' all-round development including the mental character.Higher education to ethnic minorities is an integral part of general higher education in China.
