Verbal Communication Patterns And Strategies

Language is the most important tool of communication. It is language that makes the communication a possibility in all fields of the society. Communication facilitates the beginning of language while language pushes forward the development of the communication.In the human society, language has a magic and great power, and every normal individual communicates with people around him with one kind of language. Using language to exchange ideas is the basic living ability and social behavior. In this dissertation, I summarize the three types of Speech Communication Models; they arc Code Communication Model, Intention - inferential Communication Model . Ostensive— inferential Communication Model. Speech Communication Models not only describe two stages of inferring the meaning of the utterance: Linguistic Inference and Pragmatic Inference but also two ways of communication: direct speech communication and indirect speech communication.In order to explore whether there are differences between direct speech communication and indirect speech communication, statistic method is used. According to the statistic result, we find while we are speaking, we tend to choose certain words to make our communication proper and successful. And so in the process of talking, if we pay attention to some scientific communication strategies, our communication can be going smoothly and successfully.
