On Lao Zi And Zhuang Zi Thought Of Ecological Aesthetics

This dissertation attempts to explore the reason why Zhuang-zi and Lao-zi' s thoughts have formed ,a contributing factor,the main contents.and its significance .It consists of three parts: the view points of the causes of formation;ontology;and theory of value .In the section of theory of the causes of formation, deep reasons Why thoughts of the eco-aeshetics were produced in the epoch of spring and autumn and warring states so earlier times were discussed .This exploration is conducted from three aspects: its philosophic foundation, cutural background and its realistic social foundation .This dissertation holds the view that the thoughts of Lao-zi and Zhuang-zi's ecological aesthetic inherited the basic spirits of Chinese traditional life philosophy,being an important part of Lao-zi and Zhuang-zi's life philosophy .Being concerned with life even with ecology.it reflects that the formation of Lao-zi and Zhuang-zi's thoughts of ecological aesthetics is inevitable from a historical or a logical angle.In the part of ontology ,the articles expound three aspects of the thoughts of Lao-zi and Zhuang-zi's ecological aesthetics, according to the step structure from nature to man to society, including its thoughts of beauty of natural ecology, personal life beauty,and the beauty of social ecology. The first one emphasizes on conforming to the way of the nature .venerating an objiective law of things devoloping and changing ,to achieve a state by imitating natural ways and no breaking the law of nature. At the same time ,it also stresses the ecological equality and multi-intergrowth. Furthermore, Lao-zi and Zhuang-zi also observed the fact that all things under the sun are interrelated to each other ,dependent on each other .moving in a cycle.They suggested that the harmonious beauty of interdependent, inter-competition, and intergrownth should be realized in the dynamic balance.The second one seeks a realm of enjoying leisure without restraint, with the thoughts of freedom as a point of support. It was oppossed to the alienation of the human nature ecology, to achieve ecological aesthetic state by becoming unconscious of the boundary between one-self and the external world and unawear of a state that man is an integral part of nature. The third one expresses a beautiful political ideal with a self-discipline as amark ,by means of governing without doing anything. It also describes...
