Late Ming Chen Jiru Study

In the late Ming dynasty, social morals changed with the appearance of new economic and cultural factors. Under such condition, a group of special scholars, who are different with the precious "recluse" appeared. though they hadn't any official position, they were famous for their poems, essays, paintings and drawings. they called themselves "mountain men", but actually they keep the intimate association with high-ranking officials. they not only emphsised individual independence and happiness in ideology field, but also pursued material enjoyment . they were immersed in gardening construction , playing ancient instument, playing chess, appreciating paintings, drawings, poems, lyrics, essays and "fu" . special Flower, bird, insect and fish are concerned by them. These group of scholars were called"mountain men" and "famous scholars"。 Chenjiru is the typical one among them.Chenjiru is a "very famous scholar" in late Ming dynasty. though he is a hermit, he was concerned about social things , and was fond of engraving books , making friends . he has a big circle of friends in south of the changjiang river and created plenty of articles, paintings, drawings that spread the whole country. The three characters "chenjiru" has become the representative of scholars. Studying chenjiru is a great significant thing for finding out the society, humanities of ming dynasty and knowing about the living and mind condition of the knowledge intellectuals. the research achievement is still segmental now. so the paper will specially rearranges his life story , thoughts, acquaintances , literature creation(including poems , essays, lyrics, and criticism about traditional opera and novels) from the whole angle of view。 This paper uses the "textual criticism" and"comparison" way to manifest chenjiru's livelihood and ideology condition again.The paper are composed of six chapters except the preface and conclusion. The preface mainly introduces the precious research achievements and the imagination of this paper. The 1^st charpter will introduce chenjiru's whole life and ideology condition;the 2^nd charpter inspects chenjiru's works and social intercourse;the 3^rd charpter analyses chenjiru's literary creation of poem, lyrics, and poem comment;the 4^th charpter will classify chenjiru's satirical essay, discussing the style of his essay. the 5^th charpter explores...
