The Lixian Dialect Speech Research

LiCounty Dialect belongs to Jilu Mandarin, which is an important branch of Mandarin.At present,it has no systemic research about LiCounty Dialect. The Local Gazetteer of LiCounty only mentioned some simple aspects about Phoneme,lexicon and grammer.This article is a result of comprehensive investigation and study about Phoneme. It shows the basic features of LiCounty Dialect. In sum, describing LiCounty Dialect can offer material to the research of HeBei dialect and can offer comtemprary material to the research of Chinese dialects and the history of Chinese language in a deeper step.This thesis,in seven sections,provides a comprehensive description of the LiCounty Dialect and furthermore explores certain important phonectic problems.Section One: Preface.It explains the general situation of geography, the historical evolution,and the population of LiCounty;the dialect branch which LiCounty Dialect blongs to and its basic features ;the phonetic symbols and main informants.Section Two: The phonetic system of single characters and its major peculiarties.It describes in detail the phoneme characters of LiCounty Dialect in consonants,vowels and tones.,and the basic features of phoneme.Section Three: The changes of pronunciation. The tone sandhi of disyllabic word ,the neutral tone and erhua.Section Four: Polyphonetic characters.It mainly contains the polyphoneme between literal reading and colloquial reading; the polyphoneme between the new variety and the old variety.Section Five: The comparison between LiCounty Dialect and Commen language.Section Six: The comparison between LiCounty Dialect and the phonology of Qieyun.Section Seven:Syllabary. It contains about 3800 words of LiCounty Dialect.
