Yiyuan Dialect belongs to Jilu Mandarin,which is important branch of North Dialect. As is Shandong Dialect concerned, it belongs to the district of Dongwei.At present, there are very few articles of Yiyuan Dialect research.The local Gazetteer of Yiyuan only mentioned some simple aspects about Phonology, vocabulary and gramer. This article is a result of comprehensive investigation and study of Yiyuan can offer materials to the research of Shandong dialect and can offer contemporary material to the research of Chinese dialects and history of Chinese language in a deeper step.This thesis, in seven chapters, provides a comprehensive description of the Yiyuan Dialect and furthermore explores certain important phonetic problems.Chapter One:Preface. It explains the general geography, history of Yiyuan;the dialect branch which Yiyuan Dialect blongs to and its basic features;the general situation of research, the phonetic symbols and main informants.Chapter Two:The phonetic system of single characters and its major peculiarities. It describes in detail the phoneme characters of Yiyuan Dialect in consonants, vowels, tones and the basic features of phoneme.Chapter Three:The changes of pronunciation.The tone sandhi of disyllabic word,the neutral tone and erhua.Chapter Four:Polyphonetic characters. It mainly contains the polyphoneme between literal reading and colloquial reading; the polyphoneme between the new variety and the old variety.Chapter Five:The comparison between Yiyuan Dialect and Mandarin.Chapter Six:The comparison between Yiyuani Dialect and Qieyun phonologyChapter Seven:Syllabary. It contains about4500words of Yiyuan Dialect.
