From A Voice Point Of View On The Analysis Of "a Dream Of Red Mansions" Words And Rhetoric

Cao xueqin paid lots of attention to the Phonetic Rhetoric.He successfully used varied Phonetic Rhetoric means.If we read "A Dream of Red Mansion" carefully,we'll find that Cao xueqin laid particular emphasis on the tone quality when he chose the phonetic means.The tone quality mainly includes Erhua,onomatopoeia,alliteration,vowel-rhyme and reduplication.thus,the work could gain distinctive rhetoric effect and strengthen the rhythmicity,deepen the subject.This thesis based on the first eighty chapters of GengChen Edition's "A Dream of Red Mansion".We tried to analyze the words and rhetoric further in the direction of phonetic,according to the formers' discussion. We expounded the Erhua,onomatopoeia,alliteration,vowel-rhyme ,reduplication separately using some instances and resources.
