Mainly setting out from the sociality and reality of Li Shangyin's verses, the thesis investigates Li's worriment about the society.There are a lot of related researches about Li Shangyin these years, but few sysmatic and overall researches appear which are about his worriment about the society.This thesis makes a rough review to this in the introduction part and briefly introduces the meaning of the topic choosing, the topic defining, the contents and the chapters.The main part of the thesis carries on the treatise about the contents, the technique of expression and the reason of the poet's worriment about the society. Among these the first three chapters mainly discuss the contents of the worriment about the society. And it can be devided into three levels, those are the direct worriment, the indirect worriment and the worriment which is showed in an opposite way. Each chapter can be devided into several paragraphs: the invalid laws, the corrupt politics; the king who is not responsible leads into the difficulties in governing the country; the mediocre and evil men takes the important posts of the government; making the history as the mirror and learning a lesson from the Old times; having no solvent and owing this to the God. The related contents of the three parts includes each level of the care about the reality of his verse, and preliminarily discuss the deep reasons which are behind the different ways of expressions. The fourth chapter discusses the unique art way to express the worriment.The ending part briefly summarizes the contents of the thesis , and deeplyanalyses the reason of forming the worriment of the poet,and believes that it is the result of tradition, social reality and the character of the poet himself.
