Anger is a common emotion.Under angry mood experience,individuals will face a lot of negative physiological consequences,emotional consequences and behavioral consequences(Bruehl,2007).When people encounter negative events,resulting in negative emotions,they will recall the scene at that time,and try to understand the current situation and rethink the causes of negative emotions.Self-distanced and self-immersed are two different perspectives of introspection(Ayduk & Kross,2010).Research shows that the perspective of self-distanced can reduce the anger of children and adults,and can relieve psychological endurance.However,the perspective of self-immersed will aggravate the negative emotions and feelings,strengthen contradictions and conflicts and harm the physical and mental healt h,breeding many negative hidden dangers(Mischkowski,2012).This study uses the experimental method to investigate the impact of young college students' se lf-immersed and self-distanced on their emotions.The first study is to select 62 college students to explore the impact of self-distanced/ immersed on the anger of college students.The second study is to screen 60 high trait angry college students to explore the impact of self-distanced on the type of test sentiment.The third study is to screen 60 low trait angry college students to explore the impact of self-immersion on the type of test sentiment.The study found that:(1)when college students recollection of negative events,the perspective of self-distanced reduces the negative emotion,the level of hostility and the level of implicit attack.The perspective of self-immersed increases the negative emotion,the level of hostility and the level of implicit offensive.(2)Compared with free recollection,the students of high trait anger use self-distanced to recall negative events can reduce the level of hostility and implicit attack.(3)Compared with free recollection,students with low trait anger had higher level of negative emotion,hostile wrath and implicit offensive after self-immersed in negative memories.
