The eighty-six-year rule of Sun-Wu government —which started in 195 and ended in 280 —could be divided into three periods . The earlier stage ended in 222 when Sun Quan was styled Wu King. The medium term was from 222 to 252 when Sun Quan died. The later stage lasted to the end of Wu kingdom. The "Huai-Si Group" in the title of the thesis means the celebrated families crossing Chang-Jiang Rive and many military leaders with Sun Ce attracting the south of Chang-Jiang Rive from Huai-Si district. In the period of the end of Dong Han Dynasty to San Guo ,These large families deeply influenced Sun-Wu' s rule, for quite a number of their of members occupied offical positions in Sun-Wu government. This profound influence bore different character during different periods.By the analyses of the points above, we can find out that Huai-Si Group were really important to the stability of Sun-Wu' s rule because they shared something in common, at the moment Huai-Si Group also need someone in power to protect their political as well as econical benefits in Sun-Wu government in early days. During the struggle with the large families in Jiang Dong in the later years, Huai-Si Group weakened gradually. Especially after the three important political events : Ji Yan event, Lv Yi event, Royal family conflict. Three political incidents aggravated the interior contradictions among rulers, and seriously weakened Sun-Wu' rule. They also caused Sun-Wu government' s corrupt and Wu kingdom' s decline in the later period which partly led to the end of Sun-Wu' rule in history.
