Based on some corpuses, such as CCL corpus, this thesis discusses and researches the lexicalization of "Xle", which is a disyllable unit in Modern Chinese. For the length limits, we only select "Haole", "Xingle", "Wanle" and "Bale" in Modern Chinese as example to research. Apart from the introduction, there are five chapters in this thesis.Chapter 1 describes the three kinds of usages and internal levels of structure of "Haole" in Modern Chinese. We believe there are divergence and bleach process among the three "Haole", that is, "Haole2"and "Haole3" are both bleached from "Haole1", and we also explores the processes and mechanisms of the lexicalization, divergence and bleaching. In Chapter 2, based on the exhaustive inspection of the three kinds of "Xingle", we think "Xingle2"and "Xingle3" are both bleached from "Xingle1'. Chapter 2 describes all kinds of usages and internal levels of structure of "Xingle", and explores the motivations, processes and mechanisms of the bleaching.Chapter 3 inspects , on the basic of predecessores' studies , "Wanle" in Modern Chinese systematically. It differentiates "Wanle1", "Wanle2a", "Wanle2b" and "Wanle3", and discusses their bleaching and extension relations. It also explores the processes of the lexicalization and bleaching of "Wanle".Chapter 4 differentiates the three kinds of "Bale" in Modern Chinese, based on the exhaustive inspection of the three kinds of "Bale". We think "Bale2'and "Bale3" are both bleached from "Bale1'. It describes all kinds of usages of "Bale", and explores the processes and mechanisms of the bleaching.Chapter 5 has a comparely analysis and summary on the processes of the bleaching and lexicalization of "Xle" and the motivations and mechanisms of the bleaching, based on the first four chapters' descriptions and researches.
