The future society, which is a cooperative one, should need not only the well cooperative spirit between different peoples, but also a good quality on helping each other. During an infant period, one has to play with the others and he could share his toys or give a warm touch to those who get injured, all of which could be considered as the act of cooperation or helping behavior, the good beginning of an individual's affinity. As the old saying goes "give a plum in return for a peach", the future life of a child will be rewarded from the others owing to his friendly seed which was sowed during his childhood, therefore he could enjoy the real happiness of getting well along with the others. Then it becomes important for us to make research on cooperation and helping behavior for their significant theoretical and practical value. This thesis attempts to reveal the presented characteristics in those situations of cooperation and herping behavior occurred both in the practical games and assumed stories for these children from 3-5 years old, and the relationships between the attributive manners of the child himself, the family environment (including the parameters of family background, the daily parent-child activities, the cultivating manners of parents and the parent:child relationship). It has been found that:1.There are few spontaneous prosocial behaviors on the infants from three to five years. An equalized rather than cooperative orientation is more displayed in the situations of cooperative games; while a obeying to adult is shown in the situations of helping games which the infants got hints from the adults. There is no distinctive difference on the behaviors of the infants of different ages and genders in cooperation and helping situations.2. It turns out to be that the coherence occurs both on behavior and behavior strategy in the infant's cooperation and helping situation. However, the behavior in actual game situation and the behavior strategy in the plot of assumed story are incoherent.3. In the situations of cooperative story, the infant's attributive manner is mainly objective and conditioned accompanied by the partners' relationship: while in the situations of helping story, the manner is mainly individual- and activity-attributed.
