| Liji is a ceremony theory document collection in Han dynasty. It contains 6 ceremony including "Guan, Hun, Sang, Ji, Xiang, Xiangjian" from Spring and Autumn to Han dynasty within 49 pieces. As the source of Chinese culture, the ancient ceremony system originated in matrilineal society, integrated in patrilineal society and slave society, and then fell into a pattern. It is original culture system with natural ceremony as origination, social ceremony as basic and political stratum ceremony as mainstay. The Five Monarches ceremony, Three Emporors ceremony and Confucianism formed a developing system which core is ceremony. So we can say, Liji is an ancient culture material colletion with abundant contents. 1 try to sort out these materials, examine the origination and developing of the ceremony system, get the reasonal conclusion.I chose wedding ceremony and funeral ceremony as research objects,because some ancient ceremonies has been lost and the containing of the article is limited. With the outside analyse method of Cultural Linguistics, semantic field method and structure analyse method of Semantics, I chose 78 cultural words about wedding ceremony and funeral ceremony in Liji, analyse their concept and systematic meanings, announced their semantic relation and difference.The article contains 4 chapters:Chapter 1: It contains 4 parts: 1. The form course of Liji: the process of some single pieces appearing in Xihan and formed into a book by scholars in Donghan; 2. The writing time of some pieces, examined the latest time of 21 pieces; 3. The research of Liji from Han dynasty to Qing dynasty: the brief introduction of annotation of Liji from Han dynasty to Qing dynasty. 4.
