This article is discussing about the teaching materials of intermediate intensive reading course for teaching Chinese as a second language. It mainlyanalyzes < Bridge-A Practical Intermediate Chinese Course>(Volume â…  andVolume â…¡ , 1996) as well as other two Intermediate Chinese teachingmaterials in order to evaluate the former one's virtues and shortcomings and improve our work on compiling and using Chinese intermediate teaching materials.This article tries to present a comparison and analysis of these three Chinese intermediate teaching materials from three aspects: frame design, major language materials and assistant language materials. The paper analyzes the questionnaire, which is about the compiling principles of . So we can make a conclusion that through comparing and analyzing three intermediate Chinese teaching materials, is absolutely a practical intermediate Chinese teaching material and it makes great achievements in materials collection, reappearance, culture, especially in communication principle. Both teachers and students should make full use of this teaching material.
