As a ideologist Liu Xin (who was born at the end of the West Han Dynasty ) got a good many aspect of the scholarship. First he kept on with his father's collating work and wrote the book .He tried his best to get the set up in the government officials and enkindled the debates of ancient classics and contemporary classics. All in all, Liu Xin's thought on the one hand, contains the West Han Dynasty's soul, on the other hand, sparkplugs the East Han Dynasty's thought, it's a connecting link between the preceding and the following.The East Han Dynasty JianChu four year(79), the Zhang emperor emceed the Baihuguan Meeting, and neantening the result of the meeting was written. This book quite attaches importance to the ancient classics and shows the incline of the amalgamation of the ancient and contemporary classics. About the classics' order and amount, inherited Liu Xin's thought, and recorded the other explanation.
