The Relationship Between Philosophy And Politics

Historical experience suggests the importance of the relationship between philosophy and politics. It is not only related to the healthy development of academic theory, but also about social progress, national prosperity and happiness of the people, worth detailed study. Many international and domestic scholars have debated this question from different angles, and gotten certain achievements, laid a stable foundation for our further study. This paper mainly do some research on the relationship between academic and political of Soviet model including its roots, characteristics, effects, experience, revelation, etc, to facilitate the contemporary construction of socialist modernization with Chinese characteristics. Specifically divided into the following chapters:The first chapter focuses on the history of Soviet philosophy and political relations. Firstly, clarify the concept of the Soviet Union and the Soviet philosophy. Again, divide the different stages of the evolution of the relationship between philosophy and politics of the Soviet Union: In Lenin’s time, Soviet philosophy rose as national ideology; In Stalin’s time, reduced to a political tool; In the post-Stalin years, died along with Soviet and its political party.The second chapter researches the feature of Soviet model. Firstly, the philosophy has a dual property: academic attribute and political attribute, which is the root of the intrinsic link between politics and philosophy. Relying on this basics, arriving at a conclusion that the Soviet philosophy was politicized: content, standard, character, function, institution, and so on, without exception, tend to be politicized.The third chapter, re-thinking the relationship between philosophy and politics from three dimensions. First, the Soviet model, namely the relationship between the Soviet philosophy and Soviet politics; Second, both models, that is the several typical patterns in history; Third, discuss the ideal paradigm, to promote the harmonious development of the contemporary Chinese Marxist philosophy and politics.
