Based on the comprehensive analysis of the historical data and previous research, the paper explores the Fan of the Imperial Household Department's business activities in the early days of Qing dynasty and studies the business activities, management methods, privileges and obligations,the distinction between civil and commercial issues of the Imperial Household Department's business from the trade of grain, ginseng, hides, timber trade, Copper and salt trade.By studying Fan's business activities, the research paper gets the following conclusions: In feudal dynasty emperor's business is propped up and under the protection of commercial activities. It also determines the economic imperial business with the rise and fall and rise and fall of the Qing Dynasty. Fan engaged in the trade name outside the Great Wall. In the process of customs clearance, Fan had made a crucial contribution, quickly won the confidence in the government, became famous imperial business. Later, from the reign of Emperor Kangxi to the early days of the reign of Emperor Qianlong, Fan achieved the glorious time both in politics and economy. In the middle of Emperor Qianlong, Fan played the experience on the selling of Changlu's salt and the Japanese copper trade. Due to the loss of its Office of copper and some other reasons, the hardship to the extreme eventually lead to the confiscation of theirproperties in the late of Emperor Qianlong. Around the end of 70 years, Fan ended its foreign trade in copper, and the brilliant history of the imperial business. In the final of the paper analyzed the reasons for the decline of Fan.Fan's history from the rise and fall reflected the characteristics of the Imperial Household Department : seeking profit for Royal Emperor, relieving sorrows for the country, the limited operating autonomy. In short, the commercial policies of the Qing Dynasty and the feudal autocratic regime had a far-reaching impact on business activities of the Emperor of the Imperial Household Department.
