The phonetic deviation, as a linguistic phenomenon, is common in the realistic life and can be found everywhere. But it hasn't been concerned by the linguistic community. With the development of linguistics and the deeper study of phonetic deviation, it is noticed that phonetic deviation is of unexpected favorable effects when properly used in certain context.Based on the previous findings in this field as well as the newest research on Rhetoric and Cognitive Pragmatics, this thesis performs a detailed exploration of phonetic deviation from the view of dynamic pragmatics. This text is divided into five parts: First, from the four aspects of homophony, voice imitation, prosody and voice gemination, we carry out an expanding analysis on the types of the realization of phonetic deviation; Second, concerning the characteristics of Chinese, we make use of the viewpoint putting forward by Saussure to concretely analyze the characteristics of the basic theories of phonetic deviation; Third, combining a great deal of examples from flexible language, we conclude the pragmatic functions of phonetic deviation; Fourth, we systematically explore the relation between context and phonetic deviation; Fifth, we briefly state the relation between phonetic deviation and Chinese standardization. By analysis of the thesis make phonetic deviation a little systematic, make the people pay more attention and create more phonetic deviation, and improve our speech art.As a matter of fact, phonetic deviation is not all phonetic illness, but it is a common linguistic phenomenon, which can make language more colorful and flexible in the process of information transmission and feelings expressing. Therefore, we should constantly carry out in-depth studies on phonetic deviation and make full use of it instead of excluding it blindly.
