The tomb of King Muryong of Paeche in Korea is extolled as one of the most important archaeological discoveries in the 20th century of Asia. On the one hand, it is valuable for the study on the annals of cultural-relic in the period of Three Kingdoms of the ancient Korea. On the other hand, it also is a great help to probe the international relationship and cultural exchanges between any two countries in the ancient northeast Asia. The first part of the essay is about the background of the tomb of King Muryong, including the evolution of Paeche, a summary of King Muryong's life and the general situation of the tomb of King Muryong. The second part of the essay sums up the relationship and the cultural exchanges between the Six Dynasties and Paeche according to the historical documents, then probes the cultural factors of Nan dynasties in the tomb of King Muryong with the archaeological discoveries, analyzes its origin and difference. Finally, the essay raises a point that though some cultural relics were brought to Paeche from China (Dong Jin and Nan Dynasties) directly; some were made in Paeche with Chinese skills. This proves that the culture of Nan Dynasties has been localizing and nationalizing in Paeche.
