New Aesthetic Principles To Rise

Evolvement of poetry comes from evolvement of time. The rapid alteration of Chinese traditional culture layout in this century brought an evitable baptism of culture and value to poetry. If "obscure poetry" in 1980s comes from "inspiration", "post-obscure poetry" have obviously evolved from the collective "chorus" in the 80s and shown more varieties and characteristics. However, after a serious study of post-obscure theories of different poem styles and their writing proposition, I find a common aesthetic value under various covers, which offers us a unique angle and valuable research approach.The whole thesis is composed of four chapters. The first chapter explores historical origins of new aesthetic principles, relations between "obscure poetry" and "post-obscure poetry", and points out function of virtualization in poem writing. The second chapter researches connotation and extension of virtualization, analyzes four special usages of virtualization, compares how it is employed in different article styles, and explains the phenomenon of "post-obscure poetry". The third chapter breaks in from the poetry debate in late 1990s, analyzes practical use and influence of new aesthetic principles in theories and writings and than uses new aesthetic principles to elucidate literature events. The last chapter points out the negative results brought by new aesthetic principles and tries to find the gateway of poetry writing.We shall be aware of the fact that poetry, in today's life, whose pursuit for value and elucidation can not warn the increasingly bluntness to turn of daily life consciousness.The significance of poets is expressed in their imagination far away from daily life to reflect political hegemony, ruthlessness and mediocracy of commercialized culture. When talking about poetry in late 1980s and 1990s, we can neither simply adopt the standard of modern political lyric poetry, nor that of "obscure poetry". Despite of the difference in characteristics and values, modern political lyric poetry and "obscure poetry" share common public features and realistic reference in writing and reading. Therefore, we need to accept the aesthetic principles of "post-obscure poetry", go beyond lyric criticizing trends after "May Fourth" movement and acknowledge the liberation of feelings, sense, fun and imagination from an aesthetic angle.Therefore, verbal sensibility and liberation of sentiment brought by virtualization and theatricality make contribution to poetry writing and theories. They effectively have switched social moral to aesthetic moral and language vitality.
