National policies of any country focusing on development can drive the country’s economic development in the process of moving towards industrialization, but these countries have to sacrifice benefits and rights of the bottom strata. In China, problems of migrant workers are the special products emerging in the process of changes of age and industrialization, which has had important influence to social activities and economic activities and has caused other social issues and contradiction. Literature reflects the society, so in China’s literary world a new kind of literature creation group emerges-grass-root literature, whose characteristic is reflecting life and survival problems of the most-derived public people and seeking ways to survive. It is similar to Korean contemporary public literature. Public literature whose characteristic was reflecting life and struggle of most-derived public people appeared during 1970s and 1980s in South Korea. Public literature represents the main direction of Korea during 1970s and 1980s.This thesis will compare and analyze out-migration poems in grass-root literature and labor poems in public literature. Both of the poems have much in common in reflecting the problems such as long-time work, low income, occupational disease and environmental pollution.This thesis will take Chinese out-migration poet Zheng Xiaoqiong and Korean labor poet Piao Laojie as an example to study with parallel research methods of comparative literature and thematology research methods. About writers, grass-root literature is made up of laborers and intellectuals. If the works from both creation groups are studied, it will be a formidable task. Therefore, this thesis will focus on the works of laborer writers, mainly studying the works by Chinese out-migration poet Zheng Xiaoqiong and Korean labor poet Piao Laojie. Specific contents are as follows: Part one: Elaborate research purpose and its situation and research methods in the preface.Part two:Study the appearance of Chinese out-migration poet Zheng Xiaoqiong and Korean labor poet Piao Laojie and its social significance by elaborating the social historical background and cultural background where Chinese out-migration poems and Korean labor poems appeared.Part three: Elaborate realism on labor site, disclosure to society and combination of narrative and lyrical methods by comparing the thoughts in poems from both poets. Part four: Re-understand Sino-Korean out-migration poems and labor poems by comprehensively comparing the two poets at the end of thesis, and re-know "disadvantaged groups".
