On " 17 Years " Comedy Double Narrative Structure

This paper is primarily concerned with the in-depth study of the two-decker narrative structure of 17-year Chinese comedy films.By analyzing specific comedy films, Chapter One mainly researches the expressional modality of the two-decker narrative structure. The delomorphic narrative structure expresses the subject of mainstream ideology; while the civil cultural patterns and the comedy spirit of concealed narrative structure provides diversified expression for the films. The comedy films go beyond mainstream ideology by combining delomorphic narrative structure and concealed narrative structure together. Chapter Two mainly analyzes the connection between 17-year comedy films and the tradition of left -wing films. It also analyzes the conflict and unite between propagandize function and amusement functional of the comedy films. So we can find the formative reason of two-decker narrative structure.It can be sufficient illuminated that the producing of comedy films requires free society culture condition by analyzing the descending of satirize comedy films and the rising of tribute comedy films. The 17-year films can be seen as the headstream of today's mainstream films. The combination of mainstream ideology content and comedy mode greatly builds up the value of films' view and admire. This study has reference meaning for today's mainstream films.
