That's to say, the process of the New Year films, from the beginning to the bloom, has been founded upon the common's psychology which desire more demands for colorful and cultural life occurring in such a new era.This paper firstly takes the views on the rapid development of commercial mass culture and the increasing recovery of the Lunar New Year culture in his new era, and then further studies the inevitability of the birth of New Year films industry, as well as the possibility of widely popularity. It tries to analyze the harmony of the popular cultural psychology and deep structure and form style of the movies from four aspects: space choice, people setting, and the essential spirit and structure of comedy which show the psychological interpretation to the definitions and constraints of New Year films, and explain the delicate psychological reflection of the public in the process of modernization, who embarrass the situation.In such an era co-existing with so many inclusive cultures, people gradually promote the culture study to a new high research level. And the New Year films of the mainland in the 1990s contributed much to the development of Chinese film industry by the concise grasp in the audience's aesthetic and the profound understanding of the popular culture. However, the diversification of popular culture and the historical responsibility demand us to focus on and guide the development of New Year movies with the attitude of rational and advancing with the times.
