Bai Juyi's (A.D.772—846) poem is always popular widely. One of the reasons is that his poem is very easy to understand. Or we can say that his poem has strong speech corpus. The poet lived in the late Tang Dynasty. When that time, social reality and language condition was complex and these characteristics got an overall reflection in his poem. So far, the research of Bai Juyi's poem always focus on the Investigating notes, lexicon Xun Gu and literature appreciation and so on. But the study of Bai Juyi's poem seems rather thin in grammar, just limited to quoting few corpus. The thesis tries to do more things on grammar, so I choose poems of the collected edition of Ba Juyi (following for short as "Bai's poem") as my research object.The thesis mainly does research on adverbs in Juyi Bai's poem from three aspects:I. The first and second chapters meticulously descript and analysis the adverbs using condition in Bai's poem, draw the outline of the adverbs in Bai's poem. There are 283 adverbs on totally, to be separable or classifiable into categories. The data is as the fellow: sum up adverb (30), resemblance adverb(3) , limit adverb(16), statistics adverb(3), degree adverb(33), time adverb(82), frequency adverb(7), tired add adverb(5), condition method adverb(36), tone adverb(50), negative adverb(17), 11 types.II The third chapter analysis the development of the adverbs Bai's poem from synchronic and historical linguistics and reveal its position in research history of Chinese grammar. Bai's poem has adverbs 283, following from the ancient and the medieval times is 209, newly arisen in modern Chinese is 74. Since inherited a great deal of vocabulary of Chinese in ancient and medieval times, again basic reflected the language feature from the late Tang period to the modern times. And meanwhile it exist the many embryonic of modern Chinese adverb. We investigated the bisyllables adverb in Bai's poem, the number is 97, following from the ancient and the medieval times is 33, having 34%; newly arisen in modern Chinese is 64, having 66%, reflecting a trend of modern Chinese bisyllables speeding development.III. The thesis analysis that the "不是/非是/未是+NP" coming together but the usage frequency is entirely different, development is unbalance. Concluding that the negative adverb can negates itself and the development of whole Chinese phrasing system. The thesis still investigated adverb "曾经" to re-analyze in the sentence construction level of became phrase process, delineated it to turn a track falsely.
