With the effect of opinion and thoughts of "postmodernism" in the modern western society, especially in the domain of the ideology, the study to the art history of feminism is not only a kind of new thoughts and new visual angle and new way, but also a important content which can't be lacked and ignored in the art thoughts of "postmodernism".However, the male musician and their works is always more attractive when we look through the historical records of western music. It's surely true that the female musician can't match the male one not only the art achievement but also the number of work in the history of world music. Sexual have been a standard used to choose and judge the talent, which is prevalent in the modern society. Music just means the male world and the male have ruled in the musical domain. The situation should lead to be pondered deeply that the lack of the female which is the secondary sex caused by the male have made the female musician "discourse losing".Music is always the important domain in which appears the contending between the sex make the sexual culture different, the sexual difference not only appears in the division of society, but also displays in the mode of the traditional music theory. The sexual mode forms the sexual metaphor of music. We trace back to the history of western music and look for the female musicians who are "discourse losing". In the Victoria Period, the theory about "division of sexual domain" existing in the relation between the music and the female formed the perfect quality of "Ivory maiden", at the same time ,the theory limited the social role of the female music and set up the mode of the musical female. The success in the middle of the male world done by the female musician doesn't be regarded as the social need. The female musician still are limited to develop by the visible or invisible discrimination and bias because the male fail to give them the equal chance to develop and pursue the personal interest. On the one hand, each study the musical history demonstrated "the rational Muse" (Josephine Lang, 1815-1880) have won the social status that should be owned by the female musician after her struggle. On the other hand, by means of "the vanished Muse" (Nadia Boulanger, 1887-1979) is a female composer who is "discourse losing" demonstrated the rational reason of the social role undertaken by the female musician. The intersection and mixture among the sociology study provide a more valuable conclusion for each study.
