In addition, the second analysis is applied for some relative statistics. Conclusions The source is from Academic Journal Data base, analyze relative articles from 1998.12006.9 with SPSS13.0, in addition ,using Comprehensive Meta Analysis version 2.0, merge and analyze the data which must fit the demands. The outcome show:1. The increasing number of the articles about the internet addiction is linear pattern, the correlation of the article's number and years' number is very significant.2. The study about the internet addiction is all over the country .Among the published articles ,Shang hai accounts for the most, the number of the articles in Jiang su , Hu bei, Shan dong is 37, 29, 28 . But the number of the articles in Yun nan , Gui zhou, Xin jiang is only 1. It may be related with the development of the economic ,the number of the university students and the prevalence of the internet.3. Among all the relative articles, the normal articles account for the most , the number is 422. The second are the master and doctor' articles and the nuclear journal.4. Among all the relative articles, the fist author who is from universities and scientific institutes account for 67.1%, from hospitals and mental health centers account for 11.1%, from middle schools and vocational colleges account for2.8%. The outcome shows us that the number of the articles from the universities and scientific institutes is remarkable more than other departments.5. At present , to evaluate the internet addiction ,Yong' scale and Chen shuhui's Chinese Internet Addiction Discriminate Scale are often used .The questionnaires' order as their using frequency are Sympton Checklist 90(SCL - 90), Kartaier's 16 personality factors test (16PF) , Self Rating Depression Scale (SDS), Eysenck personality Questionnaire (EPQ), Social Support Assessment Scale(SSAS), The Overall Well being Scale, Self Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS), Coping Style Questionnaire (CSQ) and so on.6. Different sexes universities' IAD ratio have remarkable difference (Z= -6.777, P <0.01); the effect size is 0.348, which lies in middle level.8. Different grades(from junior to senior) universities' IAD ratio have remarkable difference (Z= -9.847, P<0.01 ); the effect size is 0.119, which lies in lower level.9. In SCL - 90, the interpersonal sensitivity factor between IAD and NIAD has not remarkable difference (Z=2.424, P>0.01 ); but the factors such as somatization , obsessivecomplusive , phobia anxiety, the two groups has remarkable difference,(P<0.01,Z=2.442-5.873 ). among the nine factors ,only the obsessivecomplusive factor's effect size is about 0.8 which lie in higher level, but the anxiety and the depression factor's effect size is about 0.2 which lie in lower level. Conclusions The increasing number of the articles about the internet addiction is linear pattern , among the published articles ,Shang hai accounts for the most, the second is Jiang su ,Hu bei ,Shan dong, the least is Xin jang . And the normal articles account for the most , The second are the master and doctor' articles and the nuclear journal. In addition , the fist author who is from universities and scientific institutes account for 67.1%, from hospitals and mental health centers account for 11.1%, from middle schools and vocational colleges account for2.8%. At present, the most frequently used questionnaire is Yong' scale, the second is Chen shuhui's Chinese Internet Addiction Discriminate Scale. The questionnaires' order as their using frequency are Sympton Checklist 90(SCL - 90), Kartaier's 16 personality factors test (16PF) , Self Rating Depression Scale (SDS), Eysenck personality Questionnaire (EPQ), Social Support Assessment Scale(SSAS), The Overall Well being Scale, Self Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS), Coping Style Questionnaire (CSQ) and so on. Among all the relative articles, the contents which mainly discuss the reason of the internet addiction account for the most , but the contents which mainly discuss intervention and therapy only account for the least.
