Ripples Stirred Up By The New Literary Movement

The numerous and complicated pen name is a proper literature phenomenon in Chinese Modem literature. The reasons of the prosperity of pen name in modem literary circles are as followings: firstly, the quantity of the pen name is big. Most modem writers used pen names and they changed the pen name frequently. That made the pen name world of modem literary circles various. Secondly, the quality of the pen name is so high that any literature stage is difficult to reach the modem times. Almost every modem writer created their pen names intentionally. The creation of pen name becomes an important component of the writer's literature creation.Researching one kind of literature phenomenon must to find the clue in the literature history. The rise of the modem writers' pen names was related to language environment of culture. The language environment of culture provided essential atmosphere and background. This paper clarifies the language environment of culture firstly, and then investigates the feature of modem writers' pen names and the reason of the rise of the pen names in modem literature history. Specifically, the paper begins from the following aspects: The first part of the paper excavates the esthetics feature of the modem writer's pen name thoroughly. The mastery of esthetic and art is the foundation to understand the creation of modem writer pen name, the richness of esthetics characteristic is the prominent characteristic of modem writer pen namecreation. Just this existence of the characteristic, causes the feature of modem writers' pen name distinctly which becomes in one kind of true literature creation. The second part analyses the reason and the history value of the pen name. This paper stresses that, the evolution of the current thought, the development of modem publication and the appearance of each kind of new literary styles are the main reason which made the pen name emerges massively.
