This paper is concerned with the collocation of aspcet marker'le'and phasal aspects (completive and resultatives), from later recent Chinese to Modern Chinese. Methodologically, the paper will investigate the synchronic variation and the diachronic evolution of combination of `le' and phasal aspects from the point of linguistic typology. The whole research is based on the database. The paper presupposes the theories of Chen (2007), Wu fuxiang(2005), Li xunning(1999).Chapter three and Chpter four make a general introduction to usage of'le'based on related research and discuss different definition of completive and resultatives.Chapter five discusses about the phenomenon of the collocation of aspect marker'le'with completive from later recent Chinese to Modern Chinese.'Following clause'is the decisive factor to decide the appearance of'le'.Chapter six discusses about the phenomenon of the collocation of aspect marker'le'with resultatives from later recent Chinese to Modern Chinese.'Following clause'is the decisive factor to decide the appearance of'le'too.Chapter seven discusses other phenomenon of completive and resultatives. This chapter explans the decrease appearance of collocation of aspcet marker'le'and phasal aspects; desive factor that influence appearance of collocation of aspcet marker'le'and phasal aspects; and the inner different of phasal aspects (completive and resultatives).
