Encounter Set Theory

Wang Zengqi is a famous writer in the 1980s,but he wan known by the peoleo inthe 1940s.Collection of the Rencounter is the only collection of Wang Zengqi in the1940s.This dissertation,based on the research and the theory of textanalyzing,attempts to investigate the significance of Collection of the Rencounter in asystematic way.The dissertation mainly consists of five parts.The introduction mainly discussesthe present condition of the research on the works of Wang Zengqi.Chapter one makesa concrete analysis to the novel of Collection of the Rencounter and on the basis of theanalyzng character the world that the author trys to describe is generalized. Chaptertwo analyzes the artistic characteristic of Collection of the Rencounter, concentrated onmodernism, special narration and language feature. In chapter three the authorcompares the works in the 1940s with the works in the works in the 1980s ofCollection of the Rencounter,attemping to find the change of the writer's literaryideal. The Conclusion is a general comment on the study.
