All of the poetry systems of the world are established on the basis of the internelorganization of the language and phonetic system of the people. In The study of the internelcharacteristics of the poetry systems of the world, the researchers often start from the stress,the syllable,the foot and the rhyme pause.The introduction part of the thesis introduces the four major poetry systems of the worldand emphasizes the importance of the research of the stress,the syllable,the foot and therhyme pause of mongolian poems. Then it briefly introduces Na.Saishiyalt's viewpoint on thestudy of the stress,the syllable,the foot and the rhyme pause of mongolian poems as well asthe related previous research resaults and is intends to emphasize the reasons and meaningsof the research. Chapter 1 refutes the viewpoint of Na.saishiyalt,who insisted that the stress ofMongolian is always at the first syllable of the word. This chapter also introducesNa.saishiyalt's viewpoint on the stress of Mongolian as well as the various viewpoints of theprevious researcher's and gives a general introduction of modern experimental phonetics.Chapter 2 pointed out the one-sidedness of viewpoint, in which Na saishiyalt hold the viewthat the number of the syllables in one line is approximately equal in mongolian poems.Thischapter suggested that it is better to study the number of the lines than that of the syllables formongolian poetry.Chapter 3 compares Na saishiyalt's view on the foot of mongolian poemswith that of various previous researchers and comes to a conclusion that Na saishiyalt'sviewpoints on the foot of mongolian poems have important reference values in the researchfield. Chapter 4 compares Na saishiyalt's views on the characteristics and classification of therhyme pause of mongolian poetry with that of other's and agrees with his viewpoint that footpause is one kind of the rhyme pause. This chapter also considers that it is reasonable toutilize the rhyme pause to explain the difference between the traditional Mongolian poemsand the neo-poetry. It is also maintains that the visual effact of the poems have close relationto "the rhyme of the author" in the rhyme pause of the neo-poetry.
