Latter he was transferred to Rongzhou (now Yinbin of Cichuan) until the third year under Yuanfu regime (1100) when he was remitted and returned to the capital. He spent six years in Shu in exile. The life there deeply influenced his thinking, poetics, and the cultural creation. The period when he was in Shu could not be ignored when we study him. Although he was in a devil of a hole, he was very disimpassioned, and comforted himself. He overcame his difficulties and held optimism by wring articles and communicating and teaching with the people who lived in Shu. So, he succeeded in calligraphy, poetics and writing. And at the same time, he contributed to the literature cultural business of Shu greatly.Secondly, when he was in Sichuan, Huang Tingjian brought forward a serial of theories such as the theory of characteristic and sensibility, the vulgar as the elegant and the old as the new, He stated much views anti ornate style, but advocated an ordinary, simple and natural style. At the end, we study Huang's literature creations in poesy, essay and articles when he was in Shu. We mainly analyse the source and characteristic of his poets, essays and articles.
