Since the reform and opening up 40 years ago,with more and more national exhibitions held by the Chinese calligrapher's association,cursive writing has made great progress.In the recent ten years,the song people still appreciate the rise of the style of calligraphy.In terms of cursive writing,especially for huang tingjian's cursive writing,there are a variety of creative and changing means,which greatly enriches the contemporary cursive writing mode and experience.The creative and changing mode of the exhibition hall and the creative and changing mode of expressing personality have different creative and changing methods and their theoretical guidance."Pen and ink should follow The Times." then what kind of writing is of The Times? With the "problem consciousness",this paper tries to analyze and summarize several creative modes to deeply discuss the creative direction of huang tingjian's cursive calligraphy.This article first detailed huang tingjian's life and cursive art achievements,and then the paper separately to the old,middle-aged and young three generation of creation and understanding of the different divided into three sections,finally the author for huang tingjian cursive script in the thinking and practice,including in the context of contemporary cursive script creation concept of breakthrough thinking: how to make contemporary learning from huang tingjian cursive hand more "modernity",what is modernity of contemporary cursive script? This is the top priority of this paper,through my own theoretical study and practice of huang tingjian's cursive to analyze and discuss the possibility of a new creative mode with a sense of The Times,which is not only a combing of the author's theoretical thinking,but also provides theoretical possibilities for creative practice.
